I put off getting help for my hair thinning and loss for a few years after the menopause, I worried that I had left it too late and that nothing could be done to help improve it . I booked an appointment at Elan clinic and saw Gill who was so helpful , friendly and understanding , she put me at ease and listened to my concerns. After a scalp test to assess whether she would be able to help with my hair loss the results came back showing that I could get improvement and she put a plan in place. Since following her treatment plan and advice for the last 8 months I have seen significant improvement in my hair, more new hair growth than I could have wished for and can’t thank Gill enough for her continual support and help. My hair feels so much better and it’s getting fuller , her advice on hair products and what my hair stylist should use for my hair colour etc has been invaluable. I had an appointment with Neil ust over a week ago. It had taken me a long time to book the appointment as I felt so uncertain about who I could trust, how to afford the appointment (as well as any care plan) and I held myself back through shame over the state of my hair.
Unfortunately, as I had left it so long the outcome, for me, wasn't a good one. Even though the news was upsetting, it was delivered with absolute kindness, empathy, compassion and professionalism. I was guided through my options and treated with dignity.

Had hair loss in March and made an appointment to see Gill. The communication before the appointment was very thorough and as soon as I met her she put me at ease. It was a very scary, emotional time but Gill was so kind and encouraging. Had daily communication and we still check in now. She gave lots of advice and was really someone I could trust with something so personal. I’d lost 10% of my hair when I saw her (alopecia areata) which was a huge shock… Regrowth has been amazing though and my lifestyle change (suggested by Gill) has been amazing. Would definitely recommend!
I recently attended the elan Trichology Clinic in Stratford Upon Avon over concerns about my dry itchy scalp. My Trichologist is Gill Harrison and I honestly can’t recommend her enough. Gill has been amazing since my consultation and she is always there if I need any advice or support. It’s been just over 4 weeks since I visited the clinic and in that small time I’ve noticed significant improvement with my hair and scalp following Gills instructions!
